St. Clair County Court System

St. Clair County is served by the 31st Circuit Court. Three judges currently serve the court: Hon. Cynthia Lane, Hon. Michael West, and Hon. Daniel Damman. The Circuit Court is at 201 McMorran Blvd. in Port Huron. It handles felony criminal cases, civil cases over $25,000, and family law matters.

The 72nd District Court handles misdemeanor criminal cases and traffic violations for St. Clair County. Two district court locations serve different parts of the county. The Port Huron location is at 201 McMorran Blvd., Room 2900, phone (810) 985-2072. The Marine City location is at 8088 South Parker, Marine City, MI 48039. Both locations operate Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

MiCOURT gives online access to 72nd District Court records. This is useful for finding misdemeanor case history without visiting the courthouse. For felony records from the 31st Circuit Court, use the online document request form or visit the Clerk in person. Note: Some records in St. Clair County may be limited to seven years of public access under the Michigan Clean Slate Law.
