Ottawa County joined MiCOURT in August 2025, so online case search through micourt.courts.michigan.gov now includes Ottawa County records. This is a significant expansion of online access for Ottawa County compared to prior years.

Ottawa County Court System
Ottawa County is served by the 20th Circuit Court, which it shares with Oceana County. The Circuit Court handles all felony criminal cases, civil cases over $25,000, and family court matters. The court is active and has strong participation in MiCOURT for online case access.
Two district courts serve different parts of Ottawa County. The 58th District Court is based in Grand Haven and covers the northern part of the county.
