Plan visits and calls accordingly.
Dickinson County is Michigan's youngest county, organized on October 2, 1891, from portions of Marquette, Menominee, and Iron counties. Because records were centralized from the start, the county's files are generally well-organized and relatively complete going back to the county's founding. The clerk's office is the right place to start for any circuit court records search.
The main county website is at dickinsoncountymi.gov. The site provides links to court resources and county departments. For online case lookups, use the MiCOURT system linked from the county site or accessed directly through the statewide portal.

Note: The Michigan Department of Corrections OTIS system at michigan.gov/corrections shows current and recently released offenders under state supervision. This is a free, separate search from ICHAT.
